I really REGRET myself for NOT downloading this in the first time I laid eyes on it(Its just that the picture isn't promising) HOWEVER, I was already astounded and heartfelt/Shattered/Emotional/romantic excitement. The story made me feel Butterflies on my Stomach if that's an another word for Emotional Rollercoaster. And literally WHY? I got this a WEEK ago, but decided to play it today and FINISHED IT And then I'm craving for MORE, like more. Like what happens to (YOU) and Amicus back in Adastra. Really tho, a vision of their future shown by the Parents, Gods would right term for me isn't enough to satisfy me. And I'm still hungry for more drama, literally till this now my Stomach Is Grumbling, tho might be because I haven't ate since morning but because of HOW WONDERFUL this love story is, just point it out I Cried A lot.
I am having an issue with the latest version 17. When I first downloaded it, it said the app uses an older version of android that I dont have and that some features may not work. I decided to continue because what else could I do. Anyway, very beginning in the game when it asks for your name it won't let me continue. I can type in my name but when I try to exit out of the keyboard, it just reappears and I can't skip it. Anyone have a fix, or am I doomed to never play the game?
I feel like that makes sense considering if I look at it the Spanish translation is "amigo" from friend, and they sound smaller, i just felt like saying that
I would love if someday have a translation to Spanish or other languages, I am from Brazil but I understand English well and I know the whole plot of Adastra, besides being my favorite game he is incredible and I was very excited playing
I am angry with myself for not playing this visual novel for 11 whole months. It is by far the best most heart warming, emotional roller coaster I've ever been on. It made my eyes water a lot more than I expected. Thank you to every single person involved with this visual novel for helping bring it into fruition. You have my eternal gratitude. Every character is so full of life and feels developed so well; Amicus, Virginia, and Neferu are the holy trio. As soon as I get that Amicus plush on my hands, I'm grabbing him tight, and I'm never letting go.
Well, I finished it all in one sitting today, after putting it off for ages.
Jesus Christ. I am astounded by how well the writing balanced and acknowledged different elements and themes. So much of this visual novel should be a trainwreck, really. It makes so many decisions that break away from conventions and stereotypes. It also tightly acknowledges others, respecting the audience and the medium of the story. It builds so much up with the viewer, the characters, and the story in mind, and delivers on the premises it sets forward the way that the best stories often do.
It also has so many thoughtful, bold choices that I'm still a bit aghast at how outstanding it is. There has only ever, among all the visual novels I've completed in my years, been two visual novels that have made me openly sob. This is one of them.

I finished this earlier today and I just...I have no idea how to put into words the absolute rollercoaster of emotions I felt playing Adastra, from the confusion starting out, to the shock I felt at the twists, to the genuine attachment to Amicus that grew over the course of the story, to the absolute heartbreak and sadness I felt once the game reached its conclusion, to the point where I was quietly crying in the middle of class so as to not draw attention to myself.
I guess what I'm trying to say in this rather poorly worded review is...I love the world that the Echo Project team crafted, the characters they created, the music, and the well-written, complex, and realistic relationship between Amicus and the MC so much, the latter of which was probably my favorite part of the entire game.
TL;DR: Thank you to everyone who worked on this and being able to deliver to us an absolute masterpiece of a visual novel.
l'm kind new to this type of vn game but OMG this as a wonderful experience, I'mfelt so many things, sadness, happiness, despair, the characters of this game are so charismatic, the story is so engaging, I'm not gonna lie, l cry a lot close to the end, l really hope then we can see Marcus and Amicus meet each other again in a future game.
there are a few NSFW scenes, but most of the game is not and its definitivley worth the story if you can stand it anyway. I both laughed, cried, got angry and just heartfelt.
This game was spectacular. First VN I've decided to play through, and I think I made a good choice. The music and writing is amazing. Lots of feels in this VN. I'm sad that it's over, but not disappointed in the slightest. Hopefully there's an epilogue or something later!

I loved the game and the ending. I do wish for a part 2 though. This is the first VN I have ever played and I'm doubting that no any other VN can beat Adastra.
I love Adastra. It had actually made me feel like someone could love me like Amicus loves his human. The music was fantastic and it made me get even more emotional. I actually cried at the end of the good ending. I hope that after Khemia, we can see Amicus reunite with his human.

Have you extracted the zip file? Use a program like 7zip, extract it, and find the executable file(.exe). Run the .exe file and it should boot the game up.
I'd strongly recommend running and downloading Adastra through itchio's launcher though. It's pretty convenient.

This game is fantastic! It's been a while since i felt so emotional.
Some moments made me happy, some terrified and 1 moment where i cried like never before.
Fantastic art style and storytelling although kinda hoped for a more complete ending, but the game was really enjoyable, great work and keep it up

use a bluetooth keyboard and when your done typing your name turn off bluetooth thats my tip I hope it works

If you're on Mac, you'll have to unzip the file you downloaded, then put it on your hard drive, double clic on the icon to lauch the game.
