I'm really enjoying this so far. I played all the routes and I think I like Murdoch's best. The art is phenomenal. Writing is superb as expected. I love Sam's southern twang and attitude. There were definitely some skin-crawling moments (most notably the intro, the darkroom, and the donkey head), but so far this story is significantly less creepy than Echo.
The more I play, the more I want to go to echo and unravel its greater mysteries. You guys are really good at laying them down. Every update is always something to look forward to. Cheers 🥂

I honestly wasn't expecting to warm up to Ralph. I didn't even realise he was an Aussie. And the theme of pictures and perception changing depending on your mental state really does creep me out. That fear of insanity is classic, and yet so rare these days.

I can't decide which route I like the best, they all are interesting and riveting stories! The old west theme and the mystery is really great!
I very much look foreword to future updates and continuation of the story.

Boy, that's the exciting part. You watch horror movies when it scares you the most, to get the best experience out of it. The night I found The Smoke Room I had nightmares. No joke! I waked up before dawn feeling there was something in the dark. It was fucking thrilling. That feeling lasted for some weeks and I even hesitated to read the first update. Don't sabotage yourself. Go for the full experience! Totally worth it!
I've practiced active meditation so much so that I don't even mind walking in the dark alone at midnight. I do feel something sometimes but they always disappear when I notice their presence.
It's still thrilling at times but more so on the excitement and mystery rather than fear of the unknown 💃
Well, I just finished the current build update of Echo. And I can see that old Sam has been hit by a van (accidentally, actually) owned by Sydney's Father with Jannies that accompany him, I guess. And somewhere at Route 65 they burried him there.

i dont play on android but i think it just saves it eitherway, i even delete old versions of the game to free up some space and my saves are still there

Wow this game is amazing, the story keep you just wanting for more it's really a wonderful experience that I don't find anywhere else! :D But it is just I that is feeling bad for William's son? When William says I don't want them they're fine without me it made my chest hurt a bit, if I had the option to say give at least your son a chance I would have done it...
I am not sure if this applies to all android users, but the background colors of the game are inverted! Interstingly enough, the CGs are still the same, but not all of them. If I recall correctly, the inverted color CGs are the opening CG and the chapter scenes. And I ADORE Madame Dora's sprite. Exactly how I envisioned her. Good job all in all.
I just finished all the routes and I gotta say, Im loving the eldritch vibes here. I especially love how when you know so little, for example by doing the William route first(which is what I did), the being seems like a force rather than a physical manifestation. Then between the Nik route and the Murdoc route, you get to see that its kinda both? It seems to be a physical being, inhabiting the mines, that has an aura that affects the town of Echo, which is really interesting! I havent checked out what this is a prequel to, but I almost dont want to. I like how this creature has all the eldritch unstoppable devil vibes....until Murdoc tears the photo. Clearly this beast was manifesting through the imagery to affect Sam, but by doing something as simple as ripping up a photo he destroyed that avenue of influence. This is a beast that has great power, but only in the shadows, and can absolutely get its ass beat. I love those kinds of stories, and Im really excited to see where this goes in terms of taking on that creature and destroying it and its influence.

If there a scene in complete game that we're we saw Sam get killed? Because, ...I'm confused how he died in Echo and why he's haunting everyone?
I mean it has been a hundred years, so it's pretty safe to say that by the time Echo takes place Sam is long one, one way or another.

Regarding William's latest update, that was an entirely different kind of horror than I'd come to expect from the town of Echo. Very well done
Also, loved the moment Samuel and William shared at the end, I love seeing the sweeter and more gentle side of him! Fantastic update!
