They might even do something like name each new sequel based on the world where they take place, and since the Parents want Amicus to join the Galaxias together we might see each new sequel name and taking place on a different Sibling home world as he goes about that task.
Well, we don't know about that but one can hope so. I have a theory that the Adastra series will last 8 years like how the separation of Marco and Amicus will take 8 years.

Actually this Khemia chapter is taking place 3 years after the Cato riots and the MC left 9 months after that so this story is taking place a little over 2 years after Adastra. So the MC still has 6 years to go.
I do hope the in the chapter after this one that the MC shows up again though. Even if it's only the MC and Amicus being able to send letter/email via their portals. There is bound to be some way considering that Amicus is getting updates about what is happening on Earth (however delayed they may be).
im pretty sure the Iva pox is the black plague it hadnt been seen in 1000 of years and no cure was made and the symptoms are quite the same to one another
(I made an account to comment on this ^^') The bubonic plague has a vaccine made for it, antibiotics can easily treat it, there are some recent cases (although we haven't seen epidemics or pandemics of it), buboes are much larger than a simple rash and, if I recall correctly, pox of any kind is caused by viruses. In short - I doubt Yersinia Pestis is involved in avia pox.

I just decided to calculate how long these 8 years will last on different planets. i got big difference in days (more when 600). it means that 8 years on adastra, its only 6,5 years on earth.
in this case, amicus will be arrive at earth 1,5 years earlier, or he will wait 2 more years of adastra.
Because of how the Lingua works, I think it's probably in earth years, and Amicus would have heard a different number that's more understandable for him
I like the (whether intentional or unintentional) correlation between the Galaxias Factions and the factions from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 factions. Most particularly how similar and the 3 we know of are to 3 main factions within Warhammer 40,000.
Adastra - Similar to The Imperium of Man. Prideful and stoic yet regressive in their ways. It's an Empire of fools and reluctant progressives. And rampant in the Xenophobia, seeing any other species below the primary, in this case: Wolves being the Primary. And also editing their history constantly to make them see superior or to erase their shame. They even have the Roman Aesthetic similar, as when the Imperium first started it had a heavy roman aesthetic. Also in the religious factor, seeing the parents as guidance and looking to them as hopeful as possible in the same way the Imperium looks to the Emperor. But that's where the similarities end.
The Jackals: The Tau. Incredibly advanced technology, "acceptance and equality" of all beings and outstanding living conditions. They have an almost artificial type of "Faster than light" travel made on their own, like how the Tau made their own semi-artificial Warp-Drive. Tau have all of the above and what got me even more is how they started war in the first place. Khemians were "uplifting" the Wolve's outer planets that were untouched and that's how they went to war with Adastra. The Tau did something similar, they went to Imperial Border worlds and pretty much did the same, giving better living conditions and colonies, which sparked a war with the Imperium. Once again, that's where the similarities end.
Next is the Cats, not much is known about them but the way that Alexios speaks is more than enough. His mission was to be manipulative and cause chaos and anarchy while maintaining some kind of "Destiny" arc for his species. Cunning, manipulation, lying and indirect destruction of others... The cats are almost like the Eldar. Almost.
That's where most of the similarities end, whether intentional or unintentional, it's awesome either way. And it seems more like there's a correlation between these factions and Frank Herbert's Dune, which is JUST as fascinating and awesome. Especially how Khemia could be presented to us. I'm hoping we'll see SO much more in the Adastra universe, I'm excruciatingly excited and loving every moment. We await patiently. ^w^

Our cultures, religions, histories and traditions are a melting pot that have resulted in thousands of years to create bases for morals, philosophies, writings, poetry, literature, music, logic, statistics, and science. Humanity would be a glorious marvel to the Galaxias, and shows there can be peace through the diversity.
Even the literature such as plays, poetry, legends, epics and mythology would astound even the most popular of actors within the Adastra theatre. Yes, humanity has flaws and devastating weapons of mass destruction but all the species have flaws. The Wolves are prideful and racist and the Jackals are arrogant and impulsive, and the Cats are manipulative and cunning. And don't forget that Cato was probably a Genocidal maniac using Cassius as a pawn.
Humanity would be a learning curve and a beauty to the Galaxias.
if that happens we can't play as Marco on this Sequel, instead we can only play as Scipio on this sequel, let's just hope after the final build of Khemia we can play as Marco again, maybe?...
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FROM ADASTRA, ECHO AND THE SMOKE ROOM AHEAD
Have you guys noticed how when the main characters in these VNs are in a dark place mentally they tend to “hallucinate” with this insidious voice trying to bring them down further? At first I thought this feature was exclusive from the Echoverse (Echo and The smoke room) in which this voice it’s already been identified as an actual real being that haunts everyone in the town of Echo. However in this build of Khemia Scipio is going through a very similar experience with all these self-destructive thoughts/voices haunting him and yeah, it just kind of reminds me of what the characters in Echo and The smoke room go through.
Now, do you guys remember how at some point in Adastra’s plot they mention this malevolent entity that’s spreading through the universe? I can’t remember how they called, but it’s implied this thing is responsible of many unexplained creepy things and it seems to manifest at random spots all across the universe haunting or cursing these places (like the haunting at the university in Adastra). If you have come up to this point reading you can probably guess what’s coming already, but here’s my theory anyway:
What if the events from Adastra, Khemia, Echo and The smoke room are actually happening in different locations of the same universe? What if the evil entity that haunts Echo is actually explained by one of these random haunted spots that branch from the entity mentioned in Adastra? I think it would be a really cool move from The Echo Project to merge all of their VNs in the same universe through this idea.
It would be nice to know what you think guys, in my opinion it kinda fits too well to be just a coincidence, but I’d really love to know what other readers think of this. Also happy new year everyone <3
I wouldn't think that is true since the nations of the world and countries are very different in Adastra/Khemia than Echo/The Smoke Room. I think in Adastra/Khemia the Earth is the same Earth we live on. While in Echo/The Smoke Room, it has different nations and countries. Also, there are no humans in any of the story in Echo or The Smoke Room.
But that is the point, I'm not saying Adastra's Earth and Echo's "Earth" are the same planet. What I meant is that Echo and the smoke room events are happening in a whole different planet, but placed in the same universe.
Wait, if Marco and Amicus were sad about the prospect of never seeing each other for a long time, then couldn't he have given Marco the same communicator that Scipio uses to contact his mother? And I'm sure it would've also helped aid Marco with helping the humans contact Adastra.
Marco has a portal (kinda like a tablet) that the Parents use to give him guidance for his mission, but portals are limited to the local Nexus (internet) of a planet. They do not have connections across the Galaxy (as you will see in the next build).
Personally I think the chapters will go through the different Sibling races (which is part of Amicus's Parent mission to unite the galaxy) first and end with Earth. But time will tell.
Maybe they'll continue to reunite with other siblings ,it may be possible for marco to join at some point depending on how long it takes. Maybe earth itself will try to connect with the siblings too
just like adastra i think there will be like a twist what if marco ventures off on his own and then falls into danger or finds a risky way to contact amicus from wherever he is. though i do wonder how scipio will be incorporated into the story. i would like in khemia a scene where neferu confronts his father or we get to meet his siblings ,in short many things may happen we just have to wait. hahahah
can someone tell me how the saga goes? so adastra is the first novel in this 'universe' and khemia is like a sequel? and if khemia is a sequel or something, will there be a third addition to the series where the human comes back to be with amicus for good? i NEED to see my wolf again.. asap
I have to wonder, back in Adastra on "Lover's Day" Amicus said he found the food recipes in the data COM copied from Earth's nexus (aka internet/world wide web). Has he since then assigned people to go through all that data to learn more about Earth and it's cultures? Learn more about just how much Humans have figured out? I'd be interested in just how the wolves who read through this data would react and be affected by what they learned.
Yeahh I wondered about that too, how they would react seeing that their cinematic culture is not that good lol, music from what we know it's not that bad...

They are probably reusing the old sprites from Adastra for now. I'm sure they will add it in later (budget allowing of course).
