So, is there anyway I can find the soundtrack? or like the music artist who did the music.

Not totally sure (as I havent searched for it myself), however you can access the soundtrack through the game files and find each song and their name. Perhaps that's a good place to start in finding the soundtrack?

I'll check that out! Thanks dude!

just found them!

I'm glad you found it, and you're welcome!

We're not going to get Neferu's route, are we?

I second that wish!

Hey, so I downloaded the game a few days ago and finished everything there was for me in the game, but I'm confused as to whether or not I actually have all the story there is for the game in my version.

I downloaded the recent version (Adastra-15-win.zip) and I played through everything there was. Was the story updated for every single build, or were some of them used just to fix bugs in the game?

i think there is a little more to go

The last part I was on was Lover's Day with Amicus. Is that the last we have for the story at the moment, or did I somehow miss some of the story?

no we have till main character's  leaving day

(1 edit)

Okay, good to know. Do you know how I can possibly get to the most recent part of the game, or should I just wait until the next update to play the next content?

Im having issues downloading adastra 15 on my Android... It shows I've installed it, but as I go to create the app to play it, it just says it's not installed... I uninstalled 14 to see if that helped, but no... Could someone tell me what to do please? Thank you!

I am still having problems... Any info to help me?

Download isn't working

Device?

nvm i fixed it

Ive seen picutes of this around but never knew quite what it was.  I didnt know this was a thing so i downloaded this with 2 others to try.  I tried extracurricular activities and found myself surprised with how much i liked it.....and then i tried this one.  I LOVE IT....and amicus hah!   Looking forward to the ending....but also not wanting it to end!  I liked it so much im hesitant to even bother trying any others!  I probably will though since this has gotten me to like something new to me. Thanks for this it was something I think I needed.  Much love for you creators!

I need an Amicus......<3

If you are wary of looking at other visual novels I would recomend : Echo, Extracurricular Activities, Adastra, Tennis Ace, Kings Guard, Regal Tails, and Tooth. If you like more RPG Styles then I would recommend : Tavern of Spear, Kemo Coliseum, and Uncommon Breed. I highly recommend more of Echo's work. He puts so much raw emotion into his story's that it really hits you in the feels. My got the story development is something else.

!!!BUILD 15 SPOILERS BE CAREFUL!!!

Has anybody gotten the meera scene and if so what do i do to get it?

At the start choose oblivion. Then, when u are asked if you think amicus is going to become the emperor you say no. I don't really know why but that works

(+1)

Wait so, what does "to be concluded" mean exactly? Will the next update be the last one? Will there even be a next update?

There will be another one. But from the way things are going it seems like the next update will be the end.

(+2)

Just checked their Patreon and yeah 16 will be the final story installment, though there will still be bug fixes and editing passes done. They are working on a sequel though and hope to have the first build out by the end of June. <3

I love this story predominantly because I am not a furry, nor is the human character. Yet he falls in love with Amicus not because he's some beast but because of who he is. The two titular characters build a bond based on shared experiences and trauma and they find love for one another in this process. I like that the human character isn't some 'thirsty for canine dick' individual. This is a genuine love story that could easily wrap around a human to human narrative.

Along with that, I think the illustration style is perfect for tying the entire lore and narrative together. It helps define the world and each character perfectly.

The human character did at times annoying me with his stubbornness to certain things, but that said you can see that it's almost a commentary on humanity's own stubbornness. We're continually questioning things, even sometimes when it's not needed.

I am rather sad that the story ends. Emotionally, I connected with it to such an extent, however I look forward to the next installation.

This is a great story and I think that almost anyone can enjoy it.

Are there other routes that aren't with Amicus ??

Not in this project. This is the story of MC and Amicus.

Hello, how about just to know if in the future you have planned to release a version of adatra adapted to Spanish for all that community. Spanish speakers thank you for your attention

Omg yes, althought i could understand everything, but it would be really confortable if it was in Spanish, like, for my friends it would be better ajnfoasljf.

Really love the story, art and characters of this VN, and I wholeheartedly recommend.

Quick question: when an update is released (like v15 just was) is there a way to preserve our save files from former builds? Or do we just have to skip through to where the last build left off?

(+2)

Not sure if I'm the only one, but I just keep my old folder of Adastra.

So I download the new version, load it up, and all my saves are there. Then I delete the other folder. On PC at least, if you're on Android I wouldn't know.

DO THE OPTIONS AFFECT PLOT-POINTS?

Hi all, I'm wondering if the few options that one has to make actually affect the story line in some way.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Like does the question Amicus ask about how to deal with Neferu change weather or not he gets down and dirty with the jackal? This is after the bath house scene.

I'd appreciate some input here, thanks.

Uh, I know one of the options affect the plot, but that's really it.

Which one is that exactly ??

(1 edit)

Uh, spoilers, so don't click there if you don't wanna get spoiled, ding dongs.

It's when the parents ask if you will bend to their will. And now, in v15, there are a few more, but I haven't played it yet, I've just seen it in other comments.

I'll firstly start off by saying that this is the first "visual novel" I have ever experienced. I downloaded it because I thought the art looked cool, and that it might be a fun and light-hearted experience. I finished the game in about two days, and I am absolutely floored. I have a lot to say. Let's get into it!

Immediately I was totally engrossed in the story and the world. The characters are all wonderfully unique, intruiging and entertaining, all with their own desires or interests that push the events of the story forward. The plot can at first seem generic, but never felt dull or predictable to me, and as the (game? novel?) progresses it becomes very clear that the plot is anything but generic. It never lost its ability to shock me, and while at very rare times the structure, and hence the pacing, seemed a bit awkward, it was never enough of an issue to really distract me from the events of the story.

The dialogue and writing was wonderfully entertaining and obviously so carefully constructed for each character, and had me equal parts laughing and crying throughout the experience. I was honestly incredibly impressed with the level of intelligence and understanding of writing that is displayed throughout this visual novel, and it kept me totally engaged and invested in the characters and story throughout.

The art and music was absolutely enchanting, coming from an artist and musican/composer. The drawings were such lively depictions, that always wonderfully encapsulated their character's personalities and emotions. The background art was gorgeous, and always lent a real sense of personality and atmosphere to the location, owing to the amount of detail and care that the artist obviously put into every piece. I must mention though, that at some locations such as the beach, it was quite clear that the background image was just a photo with a filter over it, which somewhat detracted from the immersion within scenes taking place here, but you spend so little time there that it's something you immediately forget about when you move to the next set piece.

The music was simple, but for what it is it's marvellous - it's not meant to be a Mozart Symphony, it's simply meant to set and complement the mood of the scene, which it always does perfectly. Every piece was unique and catchy and despite the game being somewhere around a few hours long, depending on how you play it, they never got dull or annoying for me. Personally, I loved the music, especially the main menu theme. Perhaps it's bias coming from being a classical pianist, but the sparse piano melodies drifting through the air perfectly matched the profound themes that the game explored.

Speaking of, let me say that for a game/visual novel described as a furry romantic novel, I was not expecting to be confronted with such profound, intricate and high-concept themes. The idea of our many different cultures on Earth existing because of various alien races touching down on our planet throughout history is such an intriguing concept, and one that is teased throughout the game. There are a few references to a character who was a tiger named "Meera", of a people called the Hindo - a nod obviously to the culture of Hindu here on earth, associated often with tigers - largely because of it's geographical context. It is also clear throughout your time on Adastra that there is a definite Roman influence in many aspects of their society, from their clothing to architecture, which is further praise to the level of thought and detail put into the art. And of course exploring concepts of a higher power, or powers, is represented in a way I had never considered or seen before, which on it's own is impressive.

Overall, this is a fantastic game, and thank you for reading if you made it this far. If all visual novels are this good, I probably have found a new favourite genre. Although I feel that more likely, this one has just set the bar unfairly high for any contenders that follow it.

My utmost praise to the developers, artists, writers and composers - my final score is 8.5/10.

The fact that you played this one first just set your expectations incredibly high, because this is THE BEST. visual novel I ever played :)))

(+2)

Same for being my first VN to ever be downloaded and I never regretted doing so. Literally laughed, cringed, smirked, sighed, cried, shooketh, and loved throughout this story very deeply. I just hold it stays that way when I start the .15 .

Does anyone know how old alexios is? I cant find it in game, I'm just curious.

I made an itch.io account just to write a review of this game, which if you couldn't tell, is simply amazing. Overall, I have to give this VN a 10/10, with the deep story, rich backgrounds and sprites (all hail daddy Amicus), and full-fledged characters, there isn't a whole lot I can criticize here. The writing in Adastra is impeccable, it made me truly immersed in the story and connect emotionally with each character despite me not really having anything in common with any of them. Each moment in the story felt important, and nothing seemed like a filler bit to me. There were a few typos here and there, but that is to be expected with a visual novel of this depth and caliber. The MC did frustrate me with his behaviour at points, but when you're kidnapped by a drop-dead gorgeous space-wolf to a planet you know nothing about, it makes sense, but still frustrated me at times. Many scenes gave me a knot in my stomach leaving me worried for what would happen next, others made me feel relief, and a couple made me cry, but I'm trying to keep this somewhat spoiler-free, but when you play this VN, you'll understand what I mean. To wrap this up, download this VN and play it immediately. This was my first VN ever and it felt amazing to play through with such a colourful cast of characters, literally and figuratively. Seriously, go follow the lead artist Haps and check out all of his work, its amazing. The backgrounds also always took my breath away, serious props to the artist Blacksun, and also check out her artwork on her furaffinity. Great work EchoProject, I wish you the best in all of your endeavours.

Nice game.

(+6)

i love a lot of things about this game. the fact that the mc is often kinda a dick head and we have no options around that is kinda frustrating, there isnt really many options at all let alone many the affect the story really. aside from that the art, characters and story are really good but that first bit is really my main peice of criticism for thi

(+4)

INDEED HE IS XD

(+2)

yeah the fact that it takes the main character forever to develop is really disappointing, and even then he is still an ass when there isn't a reason to be. other than that the story is amazing though

(+4)

on mobile theres an issue where the text is cut off and theres no option to scroll down to see the rest of the sentence.

i was so pissed i had to go to hesttory to see it

(+3)

I, just, love it. Its perfect and when it finally ends im just going to cry x,d

So i tried to download this game and when I get to the atcual dowloading it won't let me so if you have anything to help me please say so

(+4)

[let me start off by saying that i literally signed up on itch.io just to write about how good this game is lol]
i don't think I've ever played anything as immersive and emotionally attaching as Adastra; i've lost count of how many times i caught myself screaming at my computer screen or had to pause because some moments were too much for me sdkjsdkj
this felt like a movie that I never wanted to end and once it did i needed an hour to stop crying
AND NOT TO MENTION THAT THIS PIECE OF ART IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE

in conclusion: support EchoProject on Patreon & Twitter, k thx bye

(+1)

Duuuude, totally feel ya

(+2)

I just wanna say, that i really love this game, a lot, it make me feel so many emotions, its actually a great job

I can say that this game gave some reasons to keep living, thanks a lot

Whenever I try to save my data an error screen shows up

(+1)

Where can I find the music to this game, I want to convert it to sheet music so I can play it on my piano.

all the music is in the files of the vn

I think I encountered a bug on mobile version. I tried to enter a name but it wont let me pass to the next scene. Does anyone know how to get out?

I had a similar problem just a few days ago. What I did was just open and close the app until it eventually worked.

You can also try downloading a keyboard app from Google play. It works when you use a different one.

(1 edit) (+1)

During the bottom sex scene in the recent build, I've found a few errors in the text. Though I haven't gone further in the game and there may be more, I just wanted to notify you of this

(1 edit)

I also got there, but didn't realize about any of those. What were those errors? Now I'm quite curious about it

(+2)

Hot damn. Probably the best part of this story is that it really doesn't pull punches, like ever. I actually find myself frustrated, but not because this story is "lacking" or anything, but because it was meant to be that way. I'm supposed to feel unfulfilled while the MC is just sitting idly by doing nothing. It's frightening how real this gets.

(+2)

Found a possible bug. Or I'm not sure, was this meant to say "Cato"?

Played this back on build 7 and currently downloading the newest update. I remember really enjoying this story and being hung on that cliffhanger so I'm excited to see how this progressed.
