I played this game a while back and I recently played it again. I swear to God this thing is designed to break your heart. I can't believe the story ended The way that it did.
I really Really really hope that they wrap this story up in a nice bow. I know the general direction of these visual novels is more realistic and life isn't always perfect and fantastic, but I feel like the only way for me to be satisfied in my life is to know that Marco and amicus get to have one. Guys you did a great job on this is and it got me into the VN scene. I hope one day even if it's not in the form of a game, we get to have some closure on the sweetest couple ever.
And if anybody wants to discuss the game, it's politics. It's character development, etc. You can always hit me up on Twitter. I'm probably also going to have to write some fanfiction to get through this haha
I cried 3 times playing this game, and another 6 AFTER playing the game simply because I remembered it, I really want to play the other two sequels but I used a fan translation so it's a little difficult for me to play the others, despite that I'll make an effort to manually translate whatever is most difficult to understand, but I think it's better to wait until I recover my emotional health that this game broke,
spoilers now,
I really hope that ending is true, happily ever after I say, if it isn't I don't know if I'll be able to trust love one day in my life, for the love of God creators, have mercy on my heart, I swear I don't know if I'm going to mentally handle what the end of this can do to me, and I'm not kidding
I used Google Translate to translate so sorry if something doesn't make sense in the text
I just finished reading Adastra and WOW what an incredible story. I have been crying my eyes out for 10/15 minutes and I am so unbelievably thankful to experience such a beautiful drama. How lucky I am to witness this amazing creation of love and heartbreak... I'm so lost for words on how I could possibly explain how this game will live with me forever. // -- // About 30 minutes I've just spent on the floor just emotionally stunned and drained barely finding the constitution to face my next adventure. The fact there's a sequel to this near masterpiece is such a daunting task. I give my full heartfelt thanks to Howly, HAPS, BlackSundi and Dylan Wunsch for their dedication to making this wonderful story.
Some feedback I hope will let Adastra reach its true peak is to look over the first hour or so leading into the story, the entire shuttle pod opening act before reaching Adastra feels like the weakest link in the story, I fear people may ditch the story before its given chance to shine due to the weak start.
I feel the art style/detail of certain rooms is a little lacklustre and could do with some spiffing up, for example, the bedroom at the very start of the game feels very bland. As well as the meditation room.
There are parts of the game that contain no audio/background music. Dead air isn't great but as far as I can remember it was only short instances when there wasn't a suitable song playing. Tho a bit more variation to what is being played would also be beneficial I feel.
The writing for the human character feels a little bit flat at stages, his simple response lacks emotion and gravity. Almost sounding bored with the situation he's in. Something that happens a lot is saying "yeah" a lot. While it may be accurate it doesn't really read very compelling. I found myself imagining that there was more life and energy in my responses than what was really being stated in some dull responses. A bit more detail and "life" would do the human good. Not so cold and robotic I suppose.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this story. Never has a VN made me cry and feel such weight to the love story of the characters, the drama and trust/betrayal were perfect throughout. This truly is an incredible piece of work. With some refinements, I believe this could be a best seller worldwide. I hope my feedback hasn't sapped the love and admiration I want rain upon the devs. Please continue to work on these stories you can see just how brilliant and skilled all the people working on this story developed. I just think it needs to be polished near the start and a few holes plugged and it will AMAZING.
Love the game so much. read it twice so far and cried both times and its such a good story and i plan to read it again and again. Definatly a game i plan on loving for years to come
I dont really know whats the problem , i downloaded the file and then i opened it , (the android one) and for whatever reason i cant open it to be an app , it said that its not compatibpe with my phone (i have a Realme 9 pro 5g) i dont really know whats the problem or how could i fix it , i love ADASTRA but i cant play it 😭
If I remember correctly, this game hasn't been optimized for newer versions of the Android OS. You have two options:
1. Look into "Shizuku" and an app called "Install with options". This app offers the option to install older apps on newer versions of android for which they weren't optimized (expect bugs). "Shizuku" is needed to give that app a special kind of permission needed for the operation.
2. Look up "JoiPlay". It is basically a Renpy emulator that can help you run the windows version of the game on your android phone. It's supposedly a simple method but I haven't looked into it.
I finally finished it! It took me three years, and it was quite a long and painful journey. Some of the dialogues were so lengthy and unnecessary that I found myself closing the game and taking breaks. The section about the economic system was particularly frustrating—ugh! I love furry stuff, but that... was tough. This was also the first game from the Echo Project that I ever completed. XD And definitely my last!

I'm glad this was my first VN I played all those years ago :
I really recommend U extracurricular activities by dwyene wolf
Five years have passed, this game is still incredibly popular.
Hm, a visual novel where one of the main villains is a fascist who wants to roll back decades of progress.
I don't see any current real-world connections here

I have never heard of that brand in my whole life, no offense. Is it android? Should have no problems if it runs on android OS.
