I think Khemia is a reality check for the Adastra universe. I had this romantisized idea of the Galaxias after playing Adastra, but I love that the Echo Project has taken a different approach with Khemia. As a guy I've always wanted to be in the place of Marco in Adastra, but I never considered what that would be like for a woman in Adastran society and I am glad that Khemia explores that flaw. I thought that the Alliance with the Khemians would be very straight forward especally since Amicus is friends with one of the sons of the Pharaoh. However, the suspiciously advanced Khemian-built tech and classified information that even the son of the Pharaoh isn't allowed to know, again emphasises the complex politics and shatters that romanticised image I had of the Adastra Universe as a whole. Thank you Echo Project for creating such a captivating piece of fiction and art <3!
