Don't worry , Patreons will get a new update for Interea this month (or by mid-May at the latest, it's official now). The team’s now fully focused on working on both Interea and Khemia
I've been getting this info from their patreon but now it seems that there won't be an interea update for now, rn they are focused on working in khemia builds, but they will continue with Interea during this year at least
I decided to read this before Khemia, and now I'm actually slightly regretting it.
Given this claims to be a companion novel and is clearly still in an unfinished state, I had expected it to follow other characters in the meantime.
Knowing now that I hadn't simply begun reading Khemia by accident leaves me a fair bit more confused, as - if anything - this feels more like a sequel to me; though, that could certainly change once I do begin to read Khemia.
(Also, what's up with this awkward line spacing? It's weird how comments here seem to only force a new line at very arbitrary points in the text.)
So I decided to play Khemia first and I can't help snickering at how Neferu digs at the human to be careful of Separatists' movements only to fall foul of the same advice he's giving. The devs are so clever in crafting these beautiful stories. <3 I hope to see some updates to the story soon!
Nope not dead. The creater said they were focusing on kemhia for wich they just released a re-work and that they will try putting an update for Interea once in a while between builds of Kemhia 👍.
It really seemed like the other in Adastra was what was haunting Echo, so much dialog hints to it, a remnant older than our life a form of life incompatible with our own, that uses the minds of life to generate emotion it consumes, a great corrupting being that becomes a twisted form of lifes emotion and darkness without context of good or understanding of either.
it even seemed to explain all the routes in echo and echo tsr - the evil being transcends time and space able to manipulate multiple time lines, heck two of the routes in echo actually have dialog that implies the evil being is aware of choices made in a alternate time line (when a certain choice to kill a certain being results in the dialog "comes full circle") Even a time travel event that links echo tsr and echo together (too much spoilers to mention directly but it permeates in multiple timelines of both games)
This is something of a midquel, taking place during the several-month tour you and Amicus that's skipped over during Adastra. Khemia is a sequel that takes place during the interim after Adastra but before you and Amicus reunite; you play as a completely different character in Khemia.

The status being marked as "Released" is quite misleading as it's not actually a finished Novel...

The right order to read the novels is: Adastra - Interea - Khemia

Is this a dead project?

Tal parece que no está en español
this will be finished?

Does the Other also exist in Echo? Is The Other what makes Echo Echo?

came from the sky and tainted the earth, slowly recording and replaying twisted forms of past trauma and emotional events. to feed on life...

it would be this one
