Really love William's character, he's one of those tough guys that are actually really sweet when you know them well, made me totally fall for him

A part of me sincerely hopes he and Samuel will end up together and live a happy life together, but another part of me keeps reminding me this is an Echo game and that it probably won't end in a happily ever after way
i enjoyed echo a LOT it is hands down the beast thing I have read and then to have another vn witch is giving background and context to what happened before the events of echo is awesome and i get to experience more of the amazing written characters again, thank you !

Well here is what I have: When you download the game from itch.io you should get a zip file, unzip it and you should get a file called 'TSR-17-pc.' Click into it, then double click the 'TSR' file with the renpy icon (below). It may take a while to open if it is your first time opening the game. P.S. you don't have to keep the zip file, and you won't have the 'log' file if it is your first time opening, it will be automatically created. P.P.S. This applies to most VNs that I play on itch.io for Windows 10. (Please note that this is from my experience).
Its an amazing game. The characters, story and soundtrack are so cool. There will be Yao's route? He's very interesting.
If I'm going to say something I didn't like it would be the backgrounds. But the game is still in development so I think that will change in the final version.

Honestly, although all the secondary characters in TSR are great (I find them more interesting and developed than most secondary characters in Echo) I would prefer a new route for Cynthia. I really enjoyed Jeena's in Echo and Cynthia and Sam seem very close and there's a hint of a certain platonic interest between them that could go further. Sam has already stated that although he prefers males, he has no problem pleasing a woman. But onward with more Tiger cuddles :)

SO! First thing is Echo. Atleast play 1-2 routes and than you can move on to other games. It will really boost your knowledge of event that happened in other games and give you some background

It is a typology system created by, "Carl Jung" adopted by Katherine Myers. I'll just post what I had posted from another person explaining MBTI. MBTI follows a system called, "cognitive functions" and here are the cognitive functions. while mbti can be seen in different forms, like, "16p" that is not mbti. that's the big 5/ocean, which is a different typology system.
ognitive functions is how the types work cognitively.
According to Jung, the “cognitive functions” are the two scales of Sensing-Intuition and Thinking-Feeling. These are the ways in which humans process information and think about the world.
there are 8 functions: introverted/extroverted sensing Si/Se introverted/extroverted intuition Ni/Ne introverted/extroverted thinking Ti/Te introverted/extroverted feeling Fi/Fe
notes: introverted/extroverted doesn't mean anything socially, just extroverted means you take in information externally from the world and introverted means you take in information internally from the world.

i recently realized something, that in order to get the good ending in the game of the Echo series you often need to give your love interest what they NEED not what they WANT. spoliers for Carl,Leo,Jenna and William's route:
in Carl's route you need to turn down Carl's ideia of letting James I posses him
in Leo's route you have to tell Leo that things between them are over
in Jenna's you have to disagreed with her cynic statements at least once
in William's route you need to take Nik's side over William's in the issue of the bridge
now this next part is speculation, i believe that the wrong choise when comforting William after he finds out his wife and son are in town is to tell him you think his duty to his family is noble because you are basically telling him that stayng in the closet and marring and having a family with a woman you don't love for no other reason aside that it is what society expects of him makes him vituous and i think this will lead him to choose his family over Samuel down the line
after you get out of the cave , i think telling William that theres nothing wrong with him is the wrong choise, not only is the only choise where you don't take the group picture but looking at the other options they are all about telling William not to trust his senses, in Murdoch 's route Murdoch and Ralph tell us that William is vey logical and trust his senses and that this will lead him to get to the wrong conclusions which is what i belive this choise is about
Well, I think it's considered to be a good ending is due to the fact he's finally over Chase and getting the help he needs or at least working towards it.
from the TVTropes page: Chase makes peace with his ex, finds new love and escapes the town with the rest of his friends... but is still plagued by nightmares while Leo's life remains stagnant in Echo and he chooses to cut off contact with Chase entirely, although he is at least recovering from his obsession with their relationship
You can always back up the save games in the android>data>echoproject.smokeroom folder before uninstalling the old build and restore it after installing the new version ;)
May I ask something quite blunt... HOW THE FUCK DID THE STORAGE SPACE INCREASE SO MUCH???? I get it's a big game but I've seen bigger with 1/3 of this like what the hell, I don't know if it's bad compression or laziness but please don't let this go over 1gb

There's lots of backgrounds and music and sprites, and there's more coming. The only way to reduce file size is to fragment the sprites and I do not have the time or funding to do that myself, haha.
Somebody offered but didn't really go through with it.
I found Nate's sprites in the game files (that person who tried to take Nik's hat), but they are just blank png pictures. Is it supposed to be like that?
any attempt at downloading the android version leads to an "app not installed" error... anyone know how to fix this? i really wanna see this new update :[

There might be yao's route, it is unsure. There is only the main routes: William, Nikolai, Murdoch, and Cliff at the moment

I flip between two personality types (by one letter), but matches are~:
William, Yao, Dimitri, and Beckett~
Perfect, as I love my canids, tigers, bears, and scalies~
i counted and currently we are on day 4 for William, day 5 for Nik and Cliff and day 6 for Murdoch
if we assume that all routes go until day 14( 2 weeks) and give all days the same value regardless of lenght then the game is roughly 36% completed
why you assume that plot will take 2 weeks? Is it somewhere written or is it a theory?
in Echo it was said that the original hysteria was 2 weeks long

I redone my calculations and assuming this post was made after the last Murdoch update then i reach two conclusions
1-each route has a avarage of 11 days
2-currently the game is roughly 44% to completion

asuming that ask was made between update 16 and 17
at that time there where 18 days out
Nik 3, William 4, Cliff 5 and Murdoch 6
if 18d=40% then 9d=20%
40%+40%+20%=100%%=>18d+18d+9d=45d
45d/4routes=11,25 days each , simplify to 11 days
100%/45d=>1d=2,22...%=>20d=44,44...%
simplify to 44%, of course these are extremely rough approximations that asume all days have the same length, but is the best i can at the moment.

If i am not mistaken the pictures of locations are supposed to be without cast because their spirits are just insert into those backgrounds.
