I think my download is glitched. It seems like my saved from The Smoke Room are present in my Interea app somehow. I just saved my Interea progress on page 9 for the moment but the auto saves have all already been overwritten.
I absolutely love the new game! The beginning is a fun way to introduce us back to characters we met back in Adastra. However, I feel as if some parts of the VN could be tweeked a bit. Even though I do have a few nitpicks about Amicus's new sprite (Which I don't dislike at all except for some of the sprites of him are a little choppy in how they're drawn and could be changed a little. Even though they fit better with how Amicus is supposed to look), I feel like the way Amicus's and MC's relationship is written in (after that first wakeup scene) is a little choppy. Sure, Amicus has changed a tiny bit from his emperorship, but this shouldn't change his character too much to where he's too off. Even at the ending of Adastra (Which canonically comes after this VN) his and MC's relationship is something that is familiar with but with obvious change. In this vn it's a little bit choppy and the way the conversations are layed out between Amicus and MC is a little bit stiff. Of course, play on the change role that Amicus has to go through and use it as a character development point! But don't overdue it. The way you have this vn layed out so far (Even in the first build) is great! You wrote the introduction to Cassius, Alexios, and Neferu spot on! They have tiny changes on how they interact with MC to where you can tell development has happened and you didn't overdue it to where the conversations are dull.
That's all I really had to say about the writing of it. While you kept an amazing interaction with the characters, it was just that few nitpicks about Amicus that really stuck out to me. As well as his sprite is going to be a little hard to get used to at first!

I loved the beginning! Seeing the familiar faces of most of the Adastra cast brought warm and fuzzy memories back, it was really nostalgic and the fact that this spinoff is just starting out is wonderful! I encourage Adastra fans to play this game first before Khemia.

I finished it.. It's been months since I last played Adastra. So I'm still reminiscing everything.. Like about who The Fuck Is Virginia? Again? On what timeline is this? The Months Before Marco Left?
And By The Way, the Menu is really REALLY laggy even my High Spec Phone is..

It occurs during the last 9 month the MC had left on Adastra. They did a tour of the moon's cities but Adastra never really went into the trip itself. Interea is all about that trip.

Marco describes Amicus as being about 7 ft tall at one point, but other than that we don't get much 2) Is Amicus gay? If I recall, Marco narrates as much to us, but all Amicus ever phrases it as is that he "has a preference for males" which could mean a lot of things. Personally, i think it would be best if that meant he's bi, but more commonly attracted to men, as it gives the widest number of audience members room to fantasize, since he is a player insert character's love interest after all
I think he looks great as always. The author stated he is pretty much re-using the sprites from Adastra here (with some new ones) so I don't know how you can say he looks different.
the new sprite looks a lot more consistent with how amicus looks in the illustrations in adastra, as opposed to his sprites. This is probably a matter of them being quite different in age, and haps getting better at drawing him over the course of adastra, which is to say that the one on the right is probably how amicus was always intended to look

I would love to read it, but I can only play it on my phone and on the Android version I can't tap on any of the menu buttons.

Chronologically speaking it MUST be played before Khemia and after Adastra
Chronologically speaking it has to be played just before the end of Adastra, as it slots in before the fast forwarding of the months.
This is shortly before the ending of Adastra, when the human is still with Amicus before they separate.
Ok soooo should play this or Khemia after playing Adastra??
